With Engineering and Production teams around the globe, we excel in designing and manufacturing steering systems, foot pedals, hand controls, and other electronic control devices.

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer.  The Quality Engineer position will be in the Willis, TX, facility 35 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport.  The role will work with customer satisfaction by providing proper feedback and follow-up on open claims.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer satisfaction by providing proper feedback and follow-up on open claims.
• Provide return authorization of suspect material in a timely manner.
• Support the operation by providing feedback from customers on ongoing and potential rejections.
• Analyze data obtained through different means, formulate conclusions, and provide direction to lower tiers of the organization.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with management standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, by performing internal audits and corrective actions.
• Initiate and lead quality investigation efforts and present results to both internal and external parties.
• Provide guidance to personnel performing sorting or containment activities.
• Maintain all reporting systems updated in real-time with accurate information.

Requirements

• Engineering bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in an active quality role
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical prints, GD&T, and quality core tools
• Certified internal auditor in quality and environmental management systems (OH&S a plus)
• Good communication (oral and written) in English, at all levels.
• Good analytical skills and ability to find solutions to complex problems.
• Co-operative team player
• Good negotiation skills
• A high degree of personal integrity and confidence
• Ability to make quick decisions based on a combination of experience as well as advice from other people and data-based facts.
• Ability to work well with others and to establish and facilitate good cooperation and communication.
