Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to manage production processes and personnel. This role will meet production schedules by effectively organizing and monitoring workflow. The supervisor will address issues that challenge the department's intended procedures or performance with a skillful approach and limited variables while remaining aware of the department's objectives and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Achieves manufacturing operational goals by clearly communicating job expectations.
• Streamlines the process by monitoring each step, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, overseeing personnel and resources, developing procedures and reporting systems, and facilitating corrections for malfunctions at process control points.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by fostering the use of all safety requirements, equipment, and resources
• Maintain a high-quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Resolves personnel problems by investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action with the support of Human Resources
• Maintains staff by selecting, orienting, training employees, and developing personal growth opportunities
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree level of knowledge or 6-10 years experience in manufacturing, two years of which have been in a leadership capacity
• Awareness of business KPIs (Scorecard) and Lean principles and practices
• Computer literate (Microsoft applications)
• People management and communication skills. Able to lead a highly trained employee
• Ability to analyze and interpret data. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
• Technical experience, machine setup, changeover, and troubleshooting are required for the areas responsible for
• Experience in following written work instructions and engineering drawings
