SAP Business Analyst

About the position

Main objectives for the positions are:

To help ensure data confidentiality, application integrity and operational efficiency through researching, planning, testing , documenting, implementing and maintaining Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) functionalities in our SAP global environment.

To ensure business objectives are accurately defined, validated/justified, and met through consistent and measurable project methodology.

To consult with all areas of the global organisation ensuring business requirements are translated accurately and properly into SAP functionality.

To validate FI/CO key user capacities to meet business objectives and develop the key users’ competence & capabilities.

To develop, validate and recommend continuous improvement SAP initiatives for the Group’s administrative & operational processes, ensuring best practice, with a keen eye toward innovation which accommodates our “lean” environments.

To facilitate the development of the SAP system that is capable of meeting the future growth demands of the business. This may entail, at some point, integration of newly “acquired” business units.

Responsibilities

Operating within the limits of authority (issued from time to time) and KA IS&T requirements both from a SOP and compliance aspect, the job holder will have/share a responsibility for the continuous development of the SAP FI/CO system process throughout KA globally and all aspects of SAP related information, ensuring clear communication with the other Analysts and throughout the organisation.  Responsibility for the customizing within the SAP FI and CO module, its development and changes based on company, auditors requirements and user needs.  Adhering to and stewarding  KA’s Systems Development Life Cycle policy and protocols is mandatory. Project Manager duties wherever and whenever required by SAP Application Manager and should be able to take over all the responsibilities related to project management within SAP CC.

Personal tasks:

- Design, customize, test and implement functionalities within SAP FI & CO modules.

- Develop technical documentation and quality standards.

- Coordinate, motivate and develop the key users.

- Train & certify the key users.

- Transfer knowledge to, empower and coach key users. Act as the key users “second manager” and develop their skills.

- Measure, report and follow up key user KPIs. Continually assess and develop the sets of KPIs to be measured.

- Provide user support when required and participate in rotating SAP watch system.

- Develop & publish user documentation according to standards.

- Project Management for all assigned projects

- Establish work plans, estimates, milestones and schedules for SAP projects and IS related projects.

- Analyse and resolve technical problems and perform application level tuning

Requirements

Advanced SAP certification in FI and CO)and/or significant experience from use and deployment of SAP.

Ability to learn complicated topics quickly.

Ability to independently seek & find information required for solutions.

Knowledge and experience from use of Excel macros, pivot tables and Visual Basic for Applications. Common PC software applications.

Fluent English.

Flexibility, willingness to travel.
