1. General description

Job Title : Project Manager

Area of responsibility  :    Kongsberg Wuxi DCS

Superior  : Sales & Project Director

Locations : Wuxi, China

1. JOB PURPOSE：

• Manage following types of projects
• new product implementations
• product improvement processes
• production transfers
• in-sources of production from suppliers
• re-sources of production to other suppliers

2. JOB CONTEXT/ SCOPE ：

• Conduct and implement all project activities defined in the Company project
• Management system with support of a project team, including: planning, monitoring
• Controlling, communication, organizing and leading frequent project meetings, reporting
• Achieve cost, quality and timing targets of the project
• Lead, supervise and motivate team members, managing actively conflicts and seeking
• Solutions to ensure good team work
• Communicate directly with customers to coordinate projects.
• Support Sales Department in gathering information to prepare offers for customers

3. REPORTING：

Direct report line to Program Department Manager

4. IMPORTANT EXTERNAL CONTACTS：

     Frequent contact with all other departments and employees within Kongsberg Automotive, especially with Lead engineer and Key account manager.

5. INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATION：

• Min. 5 years experience in automotive business, including min. 3 years in project management
• Familiar with APQP procedure and meanwhile know well about FEMA,MSA,SPC and PPAP tools
• Min. Bachelor degree, major in engineering will be a plus
• Fluency in English and Chinese
• Be able to foresee or detect the potential risk during project development so as to guide project team to perform the risk assessment.
• PM working experience with local OEM especial
• To have mindset of customer orientation and always respect customer voice , also have good coordination skill both for internal and external side.
• Be good at project milestone control and very sensitive for project budget and project resource that PM can escalate risk of overspending together with recovery plan as early as possible.
