For our newly set up Tech Center in Shawinigan, Canada, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist / Office Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration:
- Active cooperation with managers and leaders and supporting them in all employee matters.
- Development and implementation of corporate HR procedures and tools on a local basis respecting legal conditions.
- Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle process such as general HR administration, managing the payroll process with support of an external providers, recruitment efforts for all positions within the Tech Center (advertisements, pre-selection, conducting interviews etc.), on- and offboarding
- Establishing the right regulation and compliance setup respecting labor laws, health and safety.
- Monthly preparation of the payroll
- Establish employee development plans (talent management, succession plans, individual development plans).
- Cooperation with external service providers and local authorities.
- Manage employee data in ERP-Tool (SuccessFactors); coordinate and lead local implementation of new modules or updates including conducting training sessions
- Representing the HR department during internal and external audits (Tax, Finance etc.)
Office Management Administration:
- Preparation and planning of office events
- Handling of incoming/outgoing mail
- Ordering and administering office supplies
- Company Car Management
- Travel Management
- General office administration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Economics or related discipline
- Broad HR Generalist experience , preferable in Automotive industry
- Sound knowledge of national labour law and local procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
- Excited to work in an international environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
