Warranty Supervisor

  1. Main responsibility


  • Register and maintenance Customer website, monitor quality/warranty performance at customer end, and assessment the customer scorecard as required frequency.
  • To collect, analyse, diagnose warranty failure, negotiate with customer for warranty cost on the monthly base.
  • Conduct product training for customers to reduce warranty claim proactively.
  • Execute and ensure customer APQP in accordance to the KA PIP process or customer specific requirements.
  • Push and drive on product/process improvement, follow up and effectively conduct verification.
  • To be responsible for MSA, SPC after SOP stage to guarantee a stable process. Control plan owned.
  • Implement product audit & process audit to prevent any variation occurring.
  • Focus on main quality issues with actions for continuous improvement to achieve zero defect finality.
  • Deal with customer complaints, leading cross-function team to identify root cause and generate corrective action plan and resolve quality issues to meet customer satisfactory.
  • Provide trainings if needed to related departments to let involvers know what quality standards are.
  • Quality management system maintenance associated with IATF 16949 principals.
  • Other tasks that superior assigns. `

Competence profile (idealistic)


  • Education/Knowledge:                  

                                                 - University

- Be familiar with IATF16949, VDA6.3

- Good quality management knowledge & five Core tools.

- Problems solving tools such as 8D tools, 5why, 7 quality methods

- Be familiar with related Customer Specific Requirement

- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills

                                                        - Knowledge of drawing, GD&T is preferred

                                                         - Willing to travel


  • Practical experience                       
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Quality or warranty position in automotive related industry.
  • Ever deal with customer complaint, especially with OEMs.
  • Self-motivated mentality.
