Our factory in Raufoss develops and manufactures brass and composite couplings, including for brake systems in trucks and buses. Each year, we deliver 125 million couplings to the global automotive market, and more than 11,000 tons of brass pass through our facility, which houses over 100 different machines operated by nearly 200 operators. We are now seeking a steady and skilled production manager to ensure our delivery capacity, efficiency, and quality. This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the most exciting production environments in Norwegian mainland industry!

As production manager, you will lead and develop our production with a focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement. You will report to the plant manager and be part of a highly inspiring, hard-working, and distinctly team-oriented management team. Department managers for the three production departments and the leader of our maintenance workshop will report to you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the competent personnel across all operational areas.
• Maintain and optimize organizational structures to enable efficient and effective production.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) at daily, weekly, monthly, and annual intervals.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Hold overall responsibility for the plant’s budget, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, and production outcomes.
• Oversee production plans, address quality deviations, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Develop and manage investment plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide regular reports to plant and corporate leadership on operational performance and strategic initiatives.
• Manage personnel, including direct oversight of 3–5 department managers and support staff, fostering a high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• Technical education
• Leadership training
• Solid leadership experience with proven results from similar businesses
• Ability to achieve results through others
• Ability to analyze and handle large amounts of information
• Strong IT skills (MS Office and preferably SAP)
• Good language skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English, both written and oral
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
• Clear, motivating, and inclusive leadership style
