Production Inventory Coordinator

About the position
The Production Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of production data and inventory in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working across rotating 3 shifts (Days, Afternoons, and Nights), you will be responsible for accurately recording production transactions in the company’s ERP system, identifying discrepancies, and proactively investigating and correcting errors. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help maintain seamless inventory control, supporting efficient operations and production flow. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic manufacturing team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You must be able to work the rotating pattern and be comfortable working in the factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct production booking transactions in company ERP system for finished goods within the Drumming business unit.
- Check that all products are labelled correctly for product and qty/length
- Conduct product checks by tare weight
- Investigate any BOM anomalies or errors and report to Engineering
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure that the inventory levels are accurate
- Provide daily reports of booking checks and inventory levels
- Work with cross functional teams to investigate and close out issues detected
- Maintain accurate level of inventory
- Any other duties reasonably within capability
Requirements
- Previous experience in a data integrity or analytical
- Educated to a good standard
- Computer Literate
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- An understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Pro-active nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges
- Attention to detail.
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisational Skills
What we offer
You will work 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern; Days (5.45 to 13.45) / Nights (21.45 to 5.45) / Afters (13.45 to 21.45)
In return, you will receive a starting salary of £30,000 per annum as well as a benefits package including; 25 holidays, 8 bank holidays, and matched pension contributions at 5%.
