About the position

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Manager to lead our team in the designated Market segment within the automotive industry. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for setting and prioritizing team targets, coordinating activities, and driving effective communication within your team, as well as with other sales teams and functional departments across all KA Business Units. If you have a solid background in OEM sales within the automotive industry, strong relationship-building skills with C-level and SVP/VP-level executives, and a track record of achieving sales targets, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize team targets, actions, and activities to drive sales growth and meet revenue objectives.
  • Foster open and effective communication within your team, as well as with other sales teams and functional department teams across all KA Business Units.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at the C-level and SVP/VP level within customer organizations.
  • Utilize your solid experience in OEM sales within the automotive industry to drive business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to align strategies and support customer needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to proactively identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to your team members to maximize their performance and professional development.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in OEM sales within the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of the industry's dynamics and customer relations at C-level and SVP/VP level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and engage with customers at various organizational levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
