About the position

Our Process Engineering department is searching for a Machining expert to develop new and improve existing manufacturing processes in order to achieve optimal efficiency, minimum lead time and zero defects
Responsibilities
- As part of a Process engineering team, plan, develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products.
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements in production.
- Support running production in problem solving and implementing technical solutions.
Task
- Perform investment analysis of new machines and equipment as well as product cost calculations
- Create/ update instructions and routines for manufacturing processes
- Start-up new production lines/ cells and support daily production
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for the purchasing of machinery, equipment and tooling and support the approval of such
- Support the production of initial samples and prototypes
- Continues improvements of machining processes
Competence Requirements (ideally)
- Bachelor of Science; mechanical engineering or similar education
- 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering within similar industry with mass production
- Knowledge of CNC controller
- Cutting tool knowledge for steel machining
- Driver’s license class B (no public transportation to the plant)
