Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Manufacturing Technology Manager based in Europe, to join our new Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence KA group team. You will shape the future of our manufacturing technology. In line with our global products and systems roadmap you will
- identify core manufacturing technologies used in KA and disruptive new technologies that will be of competitive advantage for KA.
- drive the improvement and standardization of the core and new technologies throughout the global manufacturing footprint.
- Screen, test and evaluate new technologies via benchmark, and support the launch of them in our worldwide manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate expert groups (including multi-functional teams) to develop and agree on technologies standards within KA and wherever possible throughout the global footprint.
- Collect, document, and share internal KA know-how. Distribute best practice examples and support implementation.
Requirements
• University degree in relevant field
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Process/Manufacturing engineering organization
• Interest or already experiences in smart technologies at support of manufacturing
• Industrial experience, automotive industry experience a merit
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools
• Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Facilitation skills with a high focus on solutions
• Business fluent in English written and spoken
