About the position
The manufacturing engineer is responsible for supporting the facility to meet the business KPI’s and objectives. Deliver efficient systems, processes and machines that result in high quality products.
Area of responsibility: Manufacturing Engineering (M.E.)
Line Manager: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Location: Devli (Palwal), Haryana
Responsibilities
- Lead NPD from concept to SOP.
- Work balancing by Time/Motion study & work charts for productivity optimization.
- Knowledge of layout design process optimization with planning & execution for improvement on space utilization.
- Support design and quality engineering with root cause analysis of manufacturing problems, create and introduce corrective actions.
- Technical discussion with suppliers and customers.
- New machine/ jig fixtures development, Installation, commissioning trial & customer approval.
- Support maintenance engineering with process/product troubleshooting.
- Propose and implement cost saving/efficiency gains.
- Assist with prototype builds.
- Candidate Should have knowledge of basic PLC programming, HMI, Pneumatics & electrical panels.
- Use SAP where appropriate for BOM analysis data entry.
- Help to generate WI’s and SOPs for best practice operation.
- Conduct run at rates.
- CAPEX/ Budget Planning for new projects.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing process i.e. Braiding, Extrusion, Assy. Line etc.
- Able to read engineering drawings at a detailed level.
- Exposure to IATF 16949system requirements.
- Preparation of documents like PFD, PFMEA & WI etc.
- Hand son experience in APQP, PPAP, SOP documentation.
