Plant Manufacturing Specialist

About the position
This Position for Plant Manufacturing specialist at Faridabad (India). This position main role to support and strengthen of process engineering, improvement in current process, new project development at plant level.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPD from concept to SOP.
- Work balancing by Time/Motion study & work charts for productivity optimization.
- Layout optimization with planning & execution for improvement on space utilization.
- New change in conceptualization & implementation for improvement in process and equipment.
- Candidate Should have knowledge of basic PLC programming, HMI, Pneumatics & electrical panels & Poka-yoke interlinking with PLC etc.
- OEE calculation, Problem solving/Trouble shooting.
- Create equipment specifications for new products to meet the requirements of cost and quality for the new products.
- Technical discussion with suppliers and customers.
- New machine/ jig fixtures development, Installation, commissioning trial & customer approval.
- Develop new manufacturing processes that utilize new technology and introduction.
- Coordinate pilot runs, trials, and pre-launch activities.
- Layout design for new products introduction.
- Design plant layout based on lean manufacturing.
- Provide technical leadership to production for new and existing processes.
- Develop and provide training in manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Assist with developing process and production quality levels.
- Strive for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities.
- Working experience in electrical & electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulic machinery.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing, cost saving ideas.
- CAPEX/ Budget Planning for new projects.
- Modernization of processes with new technologies.
COMMUNICATION
- Coordinate the new product introduction in the manufacturing plant with all the departments.
- Collaboration with teams, inter department stakeholders, intra location responsible and suppliers for execution of required tasks (Organizational mail, Teams, Phone calls and other available resources).
Requirements
DOCUMENTATION
- Good Skills in MS office (Excel, Power points etc.).
- Preparation of documents like PFD, PFMEA & WI etc.
- Exposure to IATF 16949 system requirements.
- Hand son experience in APQP, PPAP, SOP documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Industrial engineering or relevant.
- Candidates having background of Mechanical/ Electro background will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Actuators, MT/AMT Shifter assy. line & Mechanical control cables assy. line.
Design of Tool and equipment through Auto-CAD and CATIA.
