We have an exciting opportunity for an Application/Systems Engineer to join an established team at Kongsberg Automotive. This position involves close collaboration with colleagues, customers and suppliers across the globe so if you are self motivated, with a background in Automotive Design or Mechanical Engineering and enjoy supporting and working closely with people across the globe, this may be the position for you.

Responsabilidades / Responsibilities

La persona seleccionada ayudará a impulsar y dar forma al futuro del negocio descubriendo nuevas oportunidades de desarrollo de producto y brindando soluciones de servicio a los principales fabricantes de automoción y al equipo de I+D de KA. Además de esto, también serías responsable de:

• Brindar soporte sobre soluciones técnicas y creativas para nuestros clientes, Program Managers de KA y el departamento de ventas.
• Desde una posición de liderazgo dentro del área de diseño, apoyar a los miembros de nuestro equipo de proyectos y dar soporte en la implementación de procesos internos y de herramientas de KA.
• Identificar y evaluar nuevas oportunidades de producto, aplicaciones y componentes en nuestros clientes.
• Presentar soluciones técnicas a nuestros clientes y dar soporte en la elaboración de prototipos para vehículos nuevos, lo que garantiza que KA obtenga negocios de éxito.

The right candidate will help drive and shape the future of the business by discovering new system development opportunities and providing service solutions to the leading automotive manufacturers and the KA R&D team. Other key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical and creative solution support for Customers, KA Program Managers & KA Sales in a timely manner.
• Playing a leading role within a professional Project Team and implementing KA processes and tools
• Identifying & evaluating system and components opportunities at the customer
• Presenting technical solutions to the Customers and executing trial installations on customer new vehicle programmes ensuring KA successful business wins

Requerimientos / Requirements

Si tienes capacidad de organización y gestión del tiempo y sientes que tienes un enfoque sistemático y positivo para abordar cualquier situación, este puede ser tu puesto!

Para formar parte del equipo debes tener:

• Licenciatura en ingeniería mecánica o similar.
• 3 años de experiencia en ingeniería de diseño.
• Conocimiento avanzado de herramientas de análisis y dominio de MS Office.
• Fuertes habilidades interpersonales y de presentación.

If you have strong organization and time management skills and feel that you have a systematic and positive approach to dealing with issues this may be the right position for you.

To become part of the team you must have:

• A BSc Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• 3 years experience in relevant product design engineering
• Skilled in analysis tools and proficient in MS Office
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
