The successful Key Account Manager (f/m/d) will be responsible for the business and relationship development for multiple and larger key customers based in Europe for On- and Off-highway products; for example, Material handling, Municipal and System Supplier / TierX .

The position will be based in Enschede, Netherland.



  • You are performing the function of a Key Account Manager and you are the one face to the customer. 
  • Keep the customer satisfied and provide the best possible customer service. You drive the acquisition activities, and you convince with your presentation skills.
  • Keep a close eye on the market and competitor activities. You have a good understanding of customer requirements and trends to maintain and increase market share.
  • Build solid relationships with customers and implement the respective strategy of the company.
  • Coordinate, prepare and track customer visits and you take part in trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Oversee and commercially coordinate developmental and logistical activities of the customer.
  • You lead commercial price negotiations with the client in consultation with the superior.
  • Winning new customers by tag-teaming with the development and the organizational units paired with using social media and other marketing channels.
  • Coordination of commercial and technical development activities with the customer.
  • Preparation of offers in consultation with the responsible supervisor(s).
  • Keep those communication lines wide open and build solid customer-supplier trust.


  • University degree in mechanics / electronics / industrial engineering
  • Industry experience in sales, technical sales, or similar role
  • Background knowledge in the Automotive industry, esp. in the On- and Off-highway area
  • Proven track record to drive global growth with significant customer exposure in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Proactivity and pragmatism paired with willingness to create structure
  • Proficiency in German and English
