We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales Director - Agriculture and Construction (f/m/d) to join our team in Dortmund, Germany.


  • Securing and expanding Kongsberg Automotive fields of competence vis-à-vis customers
  • Performing the function of a competent and reliable contact person for the customer, bundle customer contacts (one face to the customer), recognize possible undesirable developments at an early stage and to initiate and/or carry out their elimination
  • Identify the long-term strategies of customers and competitors, identify new business areas and develop demand forecasts
  • Develop measures for the development of results and the degree of plan fulfilment
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships with
  • Optimize internal costs and monitor cost limits , externally ensure adequate prices
  • Winning new customers in coordination with the VP Sales and PM organizational units
  • Ensure trouble-free customer supply within the framework of the centrally implemented disposition responsibility
  • Coordinating the commercial and technical development activities between the customer and Kongsberg Automotive, including subsequent product maintenance measures
  • Establish and negotiate framework agreements and submit offers to customers
  • Collecting market data, developing statistics and maintaining price, spare parts and delivery files
  • Leading employees by agreeing on objectives as well as delegating, selecting, qualifying and developing employees on the basis of a culture of trust, effectiveness control to level and develop potentials as well as promoting individual competences to fulfil departmental objectives


  • Successfully completed degree in economics, preferably with a focus on sales/marketing, or equivalent
  • Experience in strategic and operational sales functions
  • Experience in the conception, management and implementation of projects, ideally in a sales context
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Fluent English and German skills
