Program Manager

About the position

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Kongsberg Automotive. This role will focus on managing key projects, driving product improvements, and ensuring that deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timelines. This position will be based in Brześć Kujawski, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Manage KBD (Knowledge Based Development) & PIP (Product Improvement Process) project deliverables from a cross-functional team to achieve the agreed program goals and objectives.
• Lead projects through internal systems and procedures, from the strategic identification phase to running production.
• Support R&D and Programs Management with product improvements and cost reduction proposals.
• Maintain a focus on initiated projects to gain additional benefits for the business area through efficiencies in operations, design, and purchasing.
• Develop project plans, create and maintain documentation, and regularly review project progress.
• Oversee and control planning, quality, and financial aspects (budget, turnover, contribution, etc.), and report project status to the Steering Committee (STC).
• Organize and lead program meetings with customers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements and project targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with environmental management systems, occupational health and safety standards, and quality management principles within the plant.
• Coordinate project team activities according to the KDB & PIP process, focusing on the plan, costs, technologies, quality, and project risk estimation.
• Understand and address special customer requirements based on customer allocation.
• Represent the project team in monthly reviews at the local plant.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Superior.
• Promote and maintain a positive image of the company.

Requirements

• Very good command of English
• Higher Technical education, preferred fields Mechanics and Machine Construction, Electrical Engineering, Production Management
• Very good knowledge of project management techniques
• Experience in project management in automotive industry
• Ability to define goals and risks for implementation
• Ability to work in multitasking mode
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Organizational skills, ability to cooperate well with a team
• Excellent work organization and problem solving skills
• Communication skills
• Openness to challenges
• The ability to conduct audits (is welcome)
