Process Engineer

About the position

Process Engineer is a key position in mass production plant. The role ensures that production process goes smoothly and effectively. It requires high level of knowledge and very good communication skills to share this knowledge with other production function. Thanks to good cooperation with operators and other functions Process Engineer is able to desing a proper poduction flow predicting and avoiding or resolving obstacles and bottle necks.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of specifications for machines, devices, tools and instrumentation, integrating customer requirements with technical requirements and meeting corporate norms and standards.
• Collaborate with all KA departments to develop specifications and standards.
• Cooperation with the purchasing department and machine suppliers in order to order, commission and receive machines and tooling.
• Supervision of production processes, including SPC.
• Implementation of new production processes.
• Preparation of technological documentation in accordance with the process and product requirements for new machines, devices and processes.
• Implementation of engineering changes (PIP) in the field of new processes, tools, instrumentation, etc.
• Creation and supervision of system and workplace documentation (BOM, routing, PFMEA, Flow Chart, Work Instructions, etc.).
• Implementation of new machines, devices, taking into account all conditions: material flow, human aspects, environmental impact, etc.
• Responsibility for starting the production process in accordance with the assumed schedule, specification, budget and start-up costs.
• Responsibility for handing over machines and processes to serial production.
• Providing technical support and training for employees of production, maintenance and quality departments.
• Ensuring production continuity in terms of technology.
• Initiating and implementing improvements in existing production processes as well as machines and devices (OEE, FTQ, productivity, Scrap Rate, changeover time).
• Support in creating a report using the G8D method.

Requirements

Higher technical education preferred: Mechanics, Production Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics.
Experience in a similar position in a production plant (preferred in automotive industry).
Experience in process changes in the area of ​​mass production.
Practical knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, APQP, Auto CAD, Lean, OEE, MTM.
Knowledge and ability to use methods of problem solving in practice.
Very good communication and teamwork skills.
Independence, very good organization of work, proactivity.
Fluent or native Polish, Very good English skills (B2).
