Supply Chain Manager

About the position

We are looking for a results-oriented leader with strong expertise in supply chain management, proven leadership skills, and a passion for driving improvements and achieving excellence.

Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and aligning logistics strategies with business goals while focusing on optimizing operations, strengthening supplier and customer relationships, and reducing costs.

This role is based in Yangsan, South Korea.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Manager, your responsibilities are:

Developing and Implementing Business Strategy:

• Driving sales and operations planning processes.
• Aligning the supply chain strategy with the overall business strategy.
• Acting as a SAP “Super User” to enhance operational efficiency.

Managing All Logistics:

• Developing the long-term sales and manufacturing plan.
• Utilizing SAP to optimize departmental efficiency.
• Ensuring smooth delivery of new product introductions (NPIs) into logistics.
• Managing Kanban stock systems and critical resource planning.
• Overseeing risk management, demand capacity planning, and freight forecasting.
• Building strong supplier and customer relationships.

Developing an Effective and Efficient Team:

• Leading cross-functional teams and standardizing processes.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and succession planning.
• Motivating the team through strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
• Driving recruitment and selection processes to build a high-performing team.

Achieving Business Targets and Budgets:

• Effective planning and monitoring to meet targets.
• Analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring decision-making and implementation align with business goal 

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations).
• Business fluent in English
• More than 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and implementing strategic initiatives within supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Strong organizational skills, proficiency in lean methodology, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics leadership.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Experience in logistics risk management and supplier/customer relationship management.
• Deep understanding of SAP systems and their application for process optimization.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with expertise in recruitment, conflict management, and delegation, alongside strong problem-solving, negotiation, and mentoring abilities.
• Effective stakeholder management, including strong communication and facilitation skills, as well as expertise in logistics risk and supplier/customer relationship management.
• Analytical skills, planning, and time management
