Are You our new Technical Project Manager that will lead and drive our products into the future?

 

You have a technical and project lead background, and experience collaborating with broad cross-functional teams. Experience from automotive industry for mechatronic products in accordance with ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE is a big advantage. You, as a Technical Project Manager will plan, lead and monitor R&D work and deliveries in an innovative project. The team is multi-disciplinary with people from both developing and verification. Your experience will allow you to assure that deliveries are done and on time and we will be there to help.  You will work close with Project Manager in monitoring R&D input and output. Leading technical discussions with customer and gateway this towards the development team will also be part of your responsibilities. You will report to Gustav, our great Projects & Innovation Manager who oversees the TPM team which is a great support where you can discuss and share experiences in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

  • Define technical project scope, stakeholders, goals and risks
  • Preparation, verification, implementation, monitoring and adjustment of the detailed schedule (development activities from KA process)
  • Responsible for management for the engineering team in the task management tool
  • Assigns responsibility for work results and activities to the individual team leads or team members
  • Monitors and controls progress, creates project status reports with regards to milestones, resources and budget
  • Supports Risk Managment
  • Implements action items in the case of (upcoming) deviations
  • Initiates and montiors escalation actions if needed
  • Ensure that R&D/development perspective and input is represented and accurate in Project Management Plan

Requirements

Education:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar, or relevant experience

Experience and skills:

  • Experience in leading teams, preferably multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural
  • Experience in project management balancing time across several projects and in working cross-functional teams
  • Experience in automotive industry and supply chain is a plus
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in system, hardware and/or software development or testing
  • Knowlege in Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
  • Good knowledge in requirements engineering
  • Good knowledge of local native language (Swedish) is a plus
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of development processes, methods, and tools
  • Personal qualities appropriate for working in a team; analytic, structrued, pedagogical and able to take initiatives
