We are now looking for a Process Engineer with a good understanding of the subject. Plan, start-up and improve manufacturing methods and principles for a new manufacturing process. The main task is to improve the manufacturing process to achieve optimal efficiency, minimum lead time and zero defects.

Responsibilities

•    Plan, start-up and improve manufacturing methods and principles for new and existing manufacturing processes. The main task is to improve the manufacturing process to achieve optimal efficiency, minimum lead time and zero defects.
•    Continuously work to ensure the elements above in a way which is aligned with the KA Management System, KA Lean Principles and other relevant methods.
•    Participate actively in the Team.

Main Tasks

•    Rationalize and optimize manufacturing processes 
•    Design of new manufacturing fixtures / equipment (machining and assembly) and automated processes 
•    Perform investment analysis of new machines and equipment as well as product cost calculations
•    Create/ update manufacturing process documentation and operational drawings
•    Start-up of new production lines / cells
•    Support daily production 
•    Perform PPAP to customers (part of pre-production in NPI)
•    Non-conformance handling 
•    Handle initial samples and prototypes
•    Support approval process of new machinery and equipment

Competence Requirements (ideal)

•    Bachelor of Science; mechanical or mechatronic engineering
•    3 years (minimum) experience in manufacturing engineer within similar industry with mass production
•    Drivers license class B (no public transportation to the plant)
