Quality Manager

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join an established team at Kongsberg Automotive. 

 In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality processes. You will lead the quality team, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance product and process quality. 

Responsibilities

 You will be challenged and highly visible. This role is extremely important and will report to Plant manager, with reporting line to Director Global Quality for FCS.

You will establish good communication, teamwork and synergy with not only your Customers & Suppliers, but your internal peers within Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Purchasing.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating customer audits and ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Managing supplier quality performance and conducting supplier audits.
• Ensuring proper documentation and control of quality-related processes.
• Leading cross-functional meetings to resolve quality issues and implement best practices.
• Training and coaching employees on quality tools, standards, and procedures.
• Supporting new product launches by ensuring quality requirements are met at every stage.

Requirements

• Successful experience in manufacturing within global automotive context
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as Quality Manager within Automotive
• Practical knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001
• Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Risk management approach
• Solution oriented
• University degree in a relevant field
• Business fluent in English and Polish written and spoken
• Understanding of Automotive industry standards & certification
