Responsibilities
- Drive for profitable growth by developing opportunities in line with your customers’ needs in the Automotive industry.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external teams by communicating with customers (B2B), R&D, Operations, Finance and Purchasing teams to secure best results for the customer.
- Perform proactive customer visits, both with existing customers and potential new strategic accounts in North America and develop strong customer relationships with Customer Purchasing and Engineering teams.
- Analytical and structured account planning.
- Maintain monthly sales reports, business growth charts identifying business opportunities and areas of focus for product development.
- Make an immediate impact on our business by closing new sales.
- Continuously review served market to determine and clarify customer needs, market pricing, technology advancements, competitor activities or opportunities and report back within the group.
- Establish and follow up sales goals/forecasts and update prognoses regularly.
- Negotiate to close new deals and price negotiations.
- Perform price changes, raw material updates, order approvals and internal price validations.
- Represent the Kongsberg Automotive Sales organization both inside and outside the company.
Requirements
- BSc or BA degree with relevant (minimum 2 years) experience in Sales in the Automotive industry
- Experience in negotiating and closing deals (B2B)
- Fast paced customer focused attitude
- Confidence to work alone whilst contributing to a multifunctional/cultural team
- Ability to make quick decisions based on a combination of experience as well as taking advice
- High IT Literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to visit customers in selected markets for 40% of working week
- Ability to produce good quality written reports, data and relevant presentations adhering to strict deadlines
- Driving license
- Fluent English (oral/written)
